You're stepping into the role of a Data Consultant at a large multinational corporation. Your team will be entrusted by the CEO for an important undertaking: to swiftly evaluate the health and well-being of the organization.

You have 3 hours for these tasks. As the clock ticks down, the time to present your findings to the executive management approaches. With five minutes on the clock, you have the chance to demonstrate your team's analytical prowess and innovative thinking. The eyes of the jury are on you, their judgement based on objective criteria revealed only during the event.

In this high-pressure scenario, the Argusa Data Challenge tests the boundaries of your team's abilities. Can you rise to the occasion? Are you the skilled problem solvers that are needed?

What is the Argusa Data Challenge?

An opportunity for you to showcase your data engineering and analytical skills, extracting valuable business insights from a complex dataset and presenting them in a captivating way.

Why should I participate in the Argusa Data Challenge?

As a participant you will receive a digital badge that you can put on your LinkedIn profile, showcasing the skills you've demonstrated during the challenge. If you finish in 1st, 2nd or 3rd place you will also receive the prizes listed in the prizes section.

Who can participate?

The challenge is open to everyone!

Do I have to pay to participate in the Argusa Data Challenge?

No, participation is absolutely free.

In what language will the challenge take place?

The challenge will be in english, including the instructions, datasets and task descriptions. However, you are free to pitch your results in both French or English.

How will the challenge work?

The day of the challenge you will be given a bunch of csv files with complex data and a set of questions. You will need to manipulate and analyse this data in order to find answers to those questions. You will also be given 5 minutes to present your findings to the jury.

What should I bring to the event ?

A computer or laptop with your favorite data analysis tools installed. You can use whatever tools you like! (Excel, Python, R, JavaScript, Tableau, Plotly, etc.)

Can I join the Data Challenge alone, or do I need a teammate?

The challenge is designed for teams of 2, but teams can be anywhere between 1-3 members. Upon signup you can either register a team or register alone. If you register alone you can specify whether you want us to match you with a teammate.

How many teams will be participating?

We are accepting a maximum of 24 teams. Sign up now because space is limited!

Will there be free food and drinks at the event?

Yes, fresh coffee will be served all day long, and pizzas will be served at lunch. After the event there will be a small apéro.
